Intro
Your Island Professionals for
Wills & Lasting Powers of Attorney
We offer everything from simple wills all the way through to a fully bespoke individual Estate Planning Service, that can include Protective Property Trust Wills, ‘Tenants in Common’, Lifetime Trusts and more.
All our services are designed to give you peace of mind, leaving you secure in the knowledge that your loved ones, your wishes and your Estate will be protected when you die.
Our Process is Simple…
Initial Consultation
We will have a relaxed, sit-down meeting with you in person to discuss your wishes and establish your requirements. If you agree with these recommendations, a second meeting is then arranged should you wish to proceed.
Summary Recommendation
I will post you my summary of recommendation, for you to retain for your own records.
Complete your Documents
At the second meeting, we’ll read through the documents together to ensure they’re understood and meet your requirements. The documents are then signed at this point.
It’s really that simple!

Protecting you & your Family’s Future
It is very important to have a will written before you pass away, so that your final wishes can be carried out. Having a will allows you to express exactly how you wish your possessions and money to be distributed, and also ensures that your family and close friends are taken care of in the most appropriate way.
“Deryk made what we imagined to be a daunting task into a highly informative and professional advised service from start to finish. There are so many planning aspects that we would have overlooked should we have decided to try and tackle our Wills ourselves. We thought Power of Attorney was only relevant for old people!
Whilst these are not subjects you tend to discuss over dinner, we are very pleased to have already recommended his services to our friends and family who have also felt his advice to be invaluable.”

F.A.Q.
Your Questions, Answered (Hopefully!)
Why is a Will important?
For many people, writing a Will can be a very daunting and emotional prospect, filled with legalese, angst and worries; it is hardly surprising that so many put off doing it in the first place! However, leaving a Will in place is the best way to protect loved ones, family members and beneficiaries from the financial and emotional implications of dying Intestate (without a Will).
How much does your Will Writing Service cost?
Every service offered is entirely tailored to our client’s requirements, therefore it’s difficult to share exact pricing without knowing more detail.
We’ll happily run through your options with you and are transparent with our pricing.
How do I know which Service is best for me?
If you are unsure about what you need, we encourage you to book an initial meeting to discuss your requirements with us. The focus of my initial meeting is to provide you with the very best legal advice, not trying to sell you services you might not need.
Do you offer virtual meetings or an online will writing service?
We don’t tend to offer virtual meetings or an online will writing service, our approach is truly personal and we prefer in-person meetings.
